What is a PhD really? Revealing the hidden curriculum in postgraduate research

The event is aimed at potential PhD candidates from Black, Asian and minority ethnic background, but it`s open to everyone.

Organised by YCEDE (The Yorkshire Consortium for Equity in Doctoral Education) in collaboration with Brad-ATTAIN, the seminar series aim to inform, raise awareness and help to create pathways into postgraduate research and academia for minoritised ethnicities.

During the session, PhD supervisors Dr Syka Iqbal (University of Bradford) and Professor Kathryn Arnold (University of York), along with 2 current PhD students including Zenab Sabahat (University of Bradford) will share their experience and knowledge of PhDs.

Join us if you are interested in research and postgraduate research. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask any questions and also to listen to personal experiences of and opportunities available to people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic groups.
