Call for Papers
Our Call for Papers is open for the third annual ‘Race’ and Socially Engaged Research Conference. This interdisciplinary PGR-led conference is for researchers in the early career stages who conduct critical research pertaining to ‘race’, racialisation, racism, in a socially engaged, liberatory and/or transformative manner. This event is an opportunity to share research and scholar-activism in an accessible, ‘safe’ and critical space that centres community, joy and resistance.
The theme for this year’s conference is Connected Struggles and Solidarity. It is scheduled to take place on 25th-26th June 2025 at the Law and Management Building (LMB), University of York, with an optional evening reception following the first day.
The form for our call for papers and posters/visual displays can be found here.
