The event is aimed at PhD students from Black, Asian and minority ethnic background, but it`s open to everyone.
Organised by Brad-ATTAIN in collaboration with YCEDE (The Yorkshire Consortium for Equity in Doctoral Education), the seminar series aim to inform, raise awareness and help to create pathways to academia for minoritised ethnicities.
This workshop will outline a variety of qualitative methods, exploring in more detail the different approaches to interviews, photography and mapping. Insights into the development of a novel multimethod longitudinal research design will be shared with practical advice for development of your own creative qualitative method. The impact of method on power dynamic and rapport with participants will be discussed.
