This week, the University of Leeds had its internal launch for the YCEDE project. At this event, Pippa outlined the aims of each workstream and answered questions about YCEDE from Leeds staff. It was an excellent opportunity to network and learn more about the project.
First, there was a presentation from Luke Windsor about why we need YCEDE and the important problems that it seeks to address. Then, we had presentations about what Leeds was doing to support the four workstreams of the YCEDE project. Lastly, there was a discussion activity where groups debated ideas that Leeds could implement to support minoritised postgraduate students.
