YCEDE has been shortlisted for an Inclusive Impact Award!

The Yorkshire Consortium for Equity in Doctoral Education has been shortlisted for the University of York’s Inclusive Impact Award in the ‘Inclusive Partnerships’ category.

These awards will recognise the innovative and inspiring EDI work of students and staff that is already making a measurable difference across our university community. They will also provide an opportunity to hear about the plans and programme of work to deliver a more inclusive University.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) is at the heart of the University’s Strategy for 2030. A University for Public Good means that York will actively work to build an environment where all staff and students can work, study and live in a community which fosters a sense of belonging, is reflective of York values, and drives forward an innovative agenda for change.

The awards are hosted by the University of York’s EDI Exchange. The EDI Exchange will bring together work already going on across staff and student groups at York, as well as developing new initiatives, helping to amplify conversations and speed up change within the institution.
